Welcome!

The Tuttle Historical Society was founded in 2019 with a mission to collect, identify, preserve, and display memorabilia and information of significance from Tuttle’s history while increasing the public’s knowledge and appreciation of our community’s historical past.

By gathering photographs, documents, artifacts, and personal stories, we work to ensure that the heritage of Tuttle, Oklahoma is protected and shared for generations to come.

The Tuttle Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported by volunteers, members, and community donations. Our museum serves as a place where residents and visitors can learn about the people, businesses, schools, and events that shaped the town of Tuttle.

We invite everyone to visit the museum, explore our exhibits, and help us preserve the stories and memories that make Tuttle unique.

The Tuttle Historical Society was created in 2019 with a simple but important mission: to preserve and share the rich history of our community for future generations.

One of our first major projects was the restoration of the Old Gas Station, transforming it into what is now the Tuttle Museum. What was once a familiar roadside stop is now becoming a place where our town’s stories can live on.

Where we can preserve, and share the history of Tuttle—including photographs, artifacts, documents, and memories from the people who helped build our community. Every item tells a story and helps paint a picture of life in Tuttle through the years.

The museum is a work in progress, and we are always looking for historical items, photographs, and stories that help tell Tuttle’s story. Most importantly, we are always excited to welcome new members and volunteers who want to be part of preserving our local heritage.

Together, we can make sure the history of Tuttle is not forgotten.
